Yin yoga is a gentle form of yoga that focuses on relaxing the body and increasing the body’s flexibility, mobility and awareness.

As a certified yin yoga teacher, I am delighted to offer yin yoga classes at Flow of Healing.

Unlike other forms of yoga, where you tense your muscles and keep moving, yin yoga poses are held for extended periods of time — usually between three and five minutes. This gives the body time to relax deeper into the pose and stretch the muscles and connective tissues.

During the yin yoga classes at Flow of Healing, I will guide you through different postures and help you become aware of the sensations in your body. We will focus on breathing and mindfulness, putting you in a deep state of relaxation and becoming more connected to yourself.
